The most adorable and revered of all divinities and eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu who taught the world to live a joyful and blissful life - Lord Krishna's birthday 'Janmashtami'was celebrated in DAV Police Public School, Sirsa with great zest and festive spirit.

The day started with the pious lamp lighting with a prayer wishing for dispelling the darkness of ignorance.

A play on 'Lord Krishna' was staged by the students of class 7th displaying his childhood escapades, his eternal love for gopikas and slaying of the demons of his times.

Children paid their obeisances to Lord Krishna by singing 'Madhurashtakam' which depicts that every expression and action of Krishna is sweet and lovable.

Children of Nursery to 2nd dressed as 'Krishna and Radha' added to the ambience of festivity and positivity with their cuteness.
